An Allen, Texas, inpatient rehabilitation company is planting roots in the Kansas City metro with a new 40-bed hospital in Overland Park.

Nobis Rehabilitation Partners will open its College Park Rehabilitation Hospital at 11325 College Blvd., within the Compass Corporate Centre. The facility will open in the second quarter of 2022, the company recently announced.

WB Development Partners and New Era Companies, both of Texas, will partner to build the facility, where Nobis will care for patients with complex neurological and orthopedic diseases and injuries.

The hospital’s construction process now is underway, Nobis Chief Development Officer Gina Thomas said in an email.

Once open, the facility will bring more than 100 jobs to Overland Park, CEO and co-founder Daryn Eudaly said in a recent release.
