Claudio Forest is one of the principals of New Era Construction Group, a division of New Era Companies, that was started in 2022. Prior to joining New Era Construction Group, Claudio was an owner and Principal at FM Constructors, LLC a full-service general contractor specializing in residential renovations and tenant improvement and commercial finish-out. Claudio was VP – Dallas & Senior Project Manager at RenCon Services Inc. for seven years, and has served as a City of Flower Mound Council member and as President of Summit Club of Flower Mound.
Don McDaniel is one of the principals of New Era Construction Group, a division of New Era Companies, that was started in 2022. His early career was in the hospitality industry. His focus was food & beverage in both hotels and freestanding restaurants. Don came to the construction industry as a project manager with RenCon Services, where he learned construction management. After his time with RenCon, he and his business partner, Claudio Forest, went out on their own to form FM Constructors, LLC. FMC was a full-service general contractor specializing in residential renovations and tenant improvement and commercial finish-out. Don has also been involved in municipal government in Flower Mound, TX for many years. He has served on the Transportation Commission, the Planning & Zoning Commission, and ultimately as a Town Councilman.
Brad McCafferty is responsible for construction management for New Era. Early in his career, Brad established himself as a skilled construction professional comfortable collaborating with clients, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. Brad has been involved in the commercial construction industry since 2001, and has served as: Vice President for a Commercial Subcontractor, Project Manager for Commercial Subcontractors, and Project Manager for a Commercial General Contractor. As Vice President and Principal of T. King Building Services, Inc., Brad was responsible for the overall operations and profitability for both Dallas/Fort Worth and Central Texas offices. Brad has been involved in a broad spectrum of construction management functions, including executive leadership, pre-construction services, project management, contract negotiations, document control, project scheduling, quality assurance, punch list management and project close-out. Brad is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science.
Staci Renfro serves as the Director of Architectural Design for New Era and is responsible for shell building and tenant finish-out design & management. She has over 28 years of experience in commercial architecture with projects ranging from medical office, general office, hospitality, retail, restaurant, childcare and theatre design. Prior to joining New Era, Staci served eleven years as a design project manager for Five Star Real Estate, where she was responsible for design and coordination of shell buildings for large mixed-use projects. Previously she worked for Runyon Architects & Associates, Inc., Partners in Architecture, William Graves Architects, Inc. and Montague Design Group. Staci has managed and designed projects from schematic design through permit and construction. Staci earned a bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a Minor in Interior Design from Texas Tech University.
Lucinda Smith serves as the Project Administrator for New Era Construction Group. She comes from a strong customer service and administrative background having worked in the medical, education, fitness, and construction industries over the past 25 years. She assists clients, subcontractors, and vendors with project requirements and inquiries. She works directly with senior staff on project management, budgeting, cost control, and subcontractor coordination.
